Cinema for Space is the first international film festival dedicated to space.
From 27 to 29 November 2025, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, it will offer three days of screenings, debates, masterclasses and unique encounters between big names in cinema and scientific experts.
Much more than a film festival, CINEMA FOR SPACE is a lively forum, a place for dialogue between science, cinema and society, with numerous debates on current topics such as the preservation of outer space and the rise of satellites.
With a Youth programme, an audience award and an honorary award, the festival aims to appeal to all generations.
At the same time, a unique two-year programme is being run in French animation schools to inspire students and renew narratives about space.
