With its 2309 seats, the Grand Auditorium Louis Lumière is THE emblematic hall of the Palais des Festivals. Featuring an incredible 19m by 8m screen, it is the venue not only for the Festival de Cannes ceremonies, but also for conferences, presentations and awards ceremonies.

A huge projection screen, 4k films, a professional lighting system, and a state-of-the-art audio system… With its state-of-the-art technical equipment, the Louis Lumière Auditorium creates a captivating atmosphere for an immersive experience.

The auditorium is accessible to people with reduced mobility, with dedicated places in the auditorium and easy access. The theater is also equipped with hearing loops.

    2309 seats, among which :

    • 758 orchestra seats.
    • 60 orchestra folding seats.
    • 34 box seats (and 1 folding seat).
    • 1454 balcony seats (and 2 folding seats).
  • Room accessibility

    The Grand Auditorium Louis Lumière is equipped with hearing loops and has spaces for people with reduced mobility (PRM) and their companions:

    • 20 PRM seats and 12 PRM companion seats.
    • 82 seats + 3 folding seats equipped with hearing loops.
