The Palais des Festivals cultural program puts culture at the heart of the city. The Cannes scene offers a vast choice of international events, festivals and shows in a wide range of artistic disciplines. Dance, theater, music, circus, comedy, cinema, festivals, board games and pyrotechnics: the dense and ambitious programming of Palais des Festivals combines culture and entertainment. More than 80 shows are programmed each year within the establishment, but also in other venues such as the Théâtre Palais Stéphanie, JW Marriott, or even outdoors during the summer months, such as the Terrasse Lérins.
The highly diverse selection of shows offers a panorama of artistic events that not only showcase the world’s cultural wealth, but also provide a glimpse of contemporary French and foreign creation.
Spread over two seasons, WINTER from October to April, with the Festival de Danse Cannes Côte – d’Azur as the highlight, and SUMMER from June to September, the program enables all audiences, according to their tastes and desires, to be surprised by new aesthetics in the colors of diversity, astonishment and discovery.
