Description
From Vivaldi’s baroque verve to Mozart’s luminous fervour, via Haydn’s act of faith, this programme is an invitation to experience the most intense and pure emotions that sacred music has to offer.
From dramatic outbursts to spiritual moments, the orchestra unfolds a wide range of emotions blending passion, prayer and celebration under the baton of Julien Chauvin, an artist renowned for his interpretations of the Baroque and sacred repertoire. Michèle Bréant’s voice will ring out from the heart of Fréjus Cathedral and the Church of Notre-Dame du Liban in Mandelieu as a call to contemplation, whether jubilant or imbued with reverence.
