Between baroque brilliance and classical refinement, the Dutch conductor Arie van Beek, the Orchestra's guest this season, highlights the art of instrumental dialogue in the Age of Enlightenment.

Pianist Alexandre Tharaud, whose vast repertoire and brilliant recordings of classical concertos by Mozart and Haydn with Les Violons du Roy a decade ago are well known, joins the Orchestra with Haydn's Eleventh Concerto, a brilliant work where virtuosity and playfulness intertwine.
