THE CUBIST BODY
Master class with Lorena Nogal
Lorena Nogal proposes a radical approach to movement, in which the body frees itself from its usual logic.
By questioning pre-established structures, she cultivates a choreographic language based on risk, surprise and the reconfiguration of the spectator's expectations. Through a series of key concepts, this master class invites you to explore the composition of movement from an architectural angle, based on three fundamental axes:
________________________________________
THE GAZE - What have I got?
An exploration of bodily awareness and its potential.
By mobilising the psychology of the body, we will observe its instinctive responses and then play - like a jigsaw puzzle - with alternative solutions, opening the way to new perspectives on movement.
________________________________________
CREATIVE MECHANISMS - How to use them?
Tools and systems for shaping a plastic choreographic language.
Through practical exercises, we will activate novel connections between body parts and experiment with movement angles based on dissociation and distortion.
INTERPRETATION - How do I experience it?
A dive into the embodiment of movement.
We will question the way the body enters the stage, exploring the emotional and expressive dimensions of gesture, to bring out an authentic and vibrant stage presence.
Registration required, limited spaces: €15 per master class
