Description
The Ugly Princess – A musical tale by Joris Barcaroli
This is the story of a princess. A real princess, just like in the stories. She lives alone at the top of a tower. The only problem is that this tower is a huge block of flats in the heart of a big city, and our princess is locked away at the very top. Why? She says she’s too ugly to see anyone, and that no one must see her. In fact, she has never seen anyone! But one day, a curious magician knocks on her door and sets her a challenge which, if she accepts it, could make her more beautiful than she could ever have imagined! A journey of self-discovery, The Ugly Princess invites us to explore the world through fantasy and music, drawing on various European and Eastern musical traditions.
